Reconnecting with Marinduque
“Radyo Marinduque” (RM) evolved from a hobby. Being able to experiment and speak, broadcast jokes and music to few friends and acquaintances “online”. This was called “PERYA” as the voice sounded like somebody who do announcements in a carnival. In Marinduque, “perya” or carnival is common sight during month of May where town fiestas are mostly celebrated.
On January 23, 2010 with a vision to reach Marinduquenos all over the world and to be able to promote Marinduque, its nature, its beauty, its products, traditions and culture . Seek help and assistance worldwide for our not so fortunate province and kababayans helping them in areas of education, health and promotion of tourism. And with the help of our God Almighty, and fellow Marinduquenos, we shall realize our dream to put our island province of Marinduque in international map be known and be loved.
Recognized officially in London, Toronto, Barcelona and Hongkong, RM is an online community with service of music and chat , connecting Marinduquenos wherever they are.

Introduce the island province of Marinduque to both local and international community.
Tell the world where Marinduque is and how to reach the place.
Tell the world where the place is.

Show its beauty to the world.
Show the world its natural beauty. Invite tourists, local and international, to visit and see the view.
Present Marinduque’s homemade products.
Express the very own culture and tradition unique to the province.
Expose the warmth hospitality of the people.

Build bridge and bring them back.
Marinduquenos are so supportive of their province that even when they are away as OFWs or already settled and living abroad, still wanted to keep in touch of their loved ones at “home”.
By providing a place to stay and talk while listening to music, Marinduquenos can meet fellow Marinduquenos wherever they are. They may know one another and establish friendship with one another and they feel that they are just “at home”.

Come back and help.
By introducing the province to the world and promoting the island as a holiday destination, we will be able
to attract visitors, sell homemade products and help boost the local economy.
By connecting to fellow Marinduquenos, we will be able to encourage them to come back and help the province in health, education and tourism.
We may also attract investors.
